White as Snow

Snow White is a timeless fairy tale about a young princess whose beauty is said to surpass that of her vain and jealous stepmother, the Evil Queen. Obsessed with being the "fairest of them all," the Queen consults her magical mirror daily. When the mirror declares Snow White more beautiful, the Queen becomes enraged and orders a huntsman to take the girl into the forest and kill her.

However, the huntsman cannot bring himself to harm the innocent Snow White. He lets her go, and she escapes deeper into the forest, eventually finding shelter with seven kind-hearted dwarfs who live in a cozy cottage. They offer her protection, and she becomes part of their lives.

But the Queen soon discovers Snow White is still alive. Disguising herself, she tries to kill Snow White three times—first with a laced bodice, then a poisoned comb, and finally, a shiny red apple laced with deadly poison. Snow White falls into a deep, death-like sleep.

The dwarfs place her in a glass coffin, mourning her loss. One day, a prince who had heard of Snow White’s beauty comes upon her. Moved by love, he kisses her, breaking the spell. Snow White awakens, and the tale ends with justice served to the Evil Queen and a joyful wedding between Snow White and the prince.
